We are looking for a multinational company, an experienced financial controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that the Month End, Quarter End & Year End requirements as they pertain to the Finance department are delivered on time & accurately
  • Ensure that all the Legal Entities’ Balance Sheet Accounts are fully reconciled, reviewed & are consistent with the Group required format every month
  • Ensure the adherence to timetable, accuracy and quality of the Quarterly Reporting Package, Management Questionnaires, B/S movements Analytical Review & Commentary & any Adhoc Monthly, Quarterly or Annual Reports required by the Global Head Office for all legal Entities
  • Ensure that Group Policies are understood, disseminated as required & vigorously applied and adhered to for all legal Entities
  • Ensuring that all Control documentation is continuously & accurately maintained for Controllership processes
  • Review the Aged Debtor & DSO and provide regular update on issues to the CFO/Finance Director
  • Review AP to ensure levels of performance & quality are being maintained
  • Coordinate with, and develop the Country Accounting Team, which is based in the Finance Shared Service Center
  • Ensure adherence to the defined statutory timetable for all legal entities to include all local country deadlines for statutory financial reporting and corporation tax
  • Own the relationship with the External Auditors & Tax Advisors in respect of the Group Audit, Statutory Accounts & tax computations
  • Ensure that individual Statutory Accounts reflect the agreed Intercompany positions

Profil recherché :

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of Local Gaap
  • Knowledge in IFRS
  • Knowledge in US GAAP (highly appreciated)
  • Proven experience in finance management
  • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
  • Auditing experience
  • Compliance oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Analytical skills
  • Willingness to embrace change & display adaptability
